48 hours before you can workout the same muscle, minimum. If you think you can work the same muscle out in 36 or 24 you're wrong and soon you'll be injured and not working out. If you want to work out the same muscle in 36 or 24 hours you're not working that muscle hard enough. A hard enough workout leaves you at the extreme end wanting nothing, not even to voluntarily move that muscle another rep. Start thinking during that last set you're not allowed to workout that muscle again for at least 48 hours minimum and maybe you'll start to think who says. 48 will tell you.
